Sandy graduated with an accounting degree from Penn State in 2007 and entered the workforce immediately as an auditor with Deloitte. She recently moved to the Philadelphia area and joined ParenteBeard, one of the top 25 accounting firms in the U.S., where she is a Forensics, Litigation, and Valuation Services Senior Associate.

>> My name is Sandy Craft [phonetic] and I am a Forensic Litigation and Evaluation Services Senior Associate. I do Forensic Investigative work as well as I work for damages experts in civil litigation disputes. We get involved with civil disputes which there's party A and party B. And there's usually a dollar amount at stake and that's where we come in. We'll be hired mostly by attorneys and sometimes by insurance carriers. And what we do is we develop an analysis and give an opinion on what that dollar amount should be. And we could be on either side of the fence. We could be on the plaintiff side, party A, or the defense side, party B. And we try to come up with an objective opinion to what the dollar amount should be and then the expert witness, which is a partner who I work for, or a senior manager will then testify to that number that either a private jury or in a deposition. And my role is a lot of the underlying analysis and fact finding and reviewing documents to help support that member.
