As we embark on this exciting journey, we are seeking a talented and adaptable Social Media Marketing summer intern to join our team and help drive our marketing efforts to new heights.
Role Description-
As a Social Media Marketing summer intern at LUMNA you will have the unique opportunity to shape and execute strategic marketing initiatives that will elevate our brand and accelerate our sales growth trajectory. We are looking for a creative and resourceful individual who thrives in a dynamic start-up environment and is eager to take on new challenges. An interest or experience in pain management or natural medicine is a plus.
This is a part-time (20hours/week) unpaid remote internship. The intern will be responsible for handling social media accounts like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
Duration: 2 months unpaid remote internship May-June 2024
- Social Media Management: Manage and monitoring our social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) by optimizing page layouts, scheduling posts, IG stories, Facebook market place, responding to comments, and engaging with our audience to foster community growth.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to create engaging social media content, including posts, stories, and visuals, that align with our brand voice and marketing goals.
- Influencer Outreach: Identify and research potential influencers, bloggers, and thought leaders in our industry to build partnerships and expand our brand’s reach.
- Outreach Campaigns: Support the planning and execution of outreach campaigns to promote our products/services, events, or content through social media collaborations and partnerships.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with our social media followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, and initiating conversations to cultivate a positive and interactive online community.
- Social Media Analytics: Assist in monitoring and analysing social media performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, conversions) using analytics tools to evaluate the effectiveness of our social media efforts and identify areas for improvement.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports summarizing social media performance, key insights, and actionable recommendations to share with the team and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Passion for social media and a strong understanding of various social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIN, their features, and best practices.
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics and tracking tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Social Media Analytics) to measure and analyse performance.Strong research skills to identify relevant influencers and trends in our industry.
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box to develop innovative social media campaigns and content ideas.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Previous experience with social media marketing, influencer outreach, community management or healthcare is a plus.
