Position Overview
The Digital Strategy team powers digital experiences and engagement to enhance the lives of our customers daily through by leveraging our digital solutions. We build, deliver, and manage a portfolio of digital solutions that support our core business. You’ll be immersed in a dynamic high-growth environment and empowered to excel, take informed risks and drive ingenuity across the enterprise.
As a digital intern, you will support the Digital Product Manager and Digital Commercial Manager as they work with customers and internal stakeholders while developing Digital Solutions centered around construction machinery ecosystem.
This position will work on key programs that support the overall 5-Year Digital vision of Genie with the opportunity to work with key stakeholders from across the Genie organization. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to spend time with our customers and customer facing product management/sales organization to ensure we clearly understand what our customer needs.
Real World Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Genie Digital internal sharepoint resource page, which will be utilized by all Genie employees as single source of truth for all things Digital
- Build and maintain process for capturing VOC (voice of customer) from external and internal Genie customers
- At least 3 customer visits, with VOC capture resulting in at least 3 new ideas for digital products/solutions
- Work with Digital Commercial Manager to develop a 5 Year Mobile Strategy/Roadmap for Genie

Must haves:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business Management, Marketing, Computer Science, Informatics, or similar field or graduated within last two years
- Able to work full-time 40 hours per week for 3 months in Bothell, WA
- Team player who is comfortable interacting and supporting any level of peers
- Detail oriented, highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently while contributing to team effort
Nice to haves:
- Are adaptable, innovative, and proactive
- Skills or experiences in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office Suite applications
- Prior experience in leadership positions on campus or other extracurriculars
- Prior experience using Smartsheet
The compensation for this position is $26/hr for undergraduate interns and $28/hr for graduate or returning interns. This position is eligible for holiday pay, but not for medical benefits.
