The City of Dana Point is seeking a highly motivated and career-minded individual to fill the position of Information Technology Intern (part-time). This is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience for a current student or recent graduate.
Under immediate supervision assist City administrative, management and technical staff as assigned; conduct research; compile and analyze data; perform routine administrative and/or technical support tasks. Incumbent is assigned to perform projects which both help the City achieve its objectives and provide the Intern with on-the-job exposure to municipal government processes and issues.
The following combination of education and experience is most typically likely to provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities:
Graduation from high school or completion of a GED. Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program from an accredited college or university in information technology or related field.
