DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
The Accounting Department is responsible for recording and reporting the cash flow transactions of a company. This department has some key roles and responsibilities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, financial reporting, and maintaining financial controls.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Accounting Intern will handle a wide range of duties including but not limited to those listed below. The intern will also be responsible for assisting both accounts receivable and accounts payables.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with month end financial reports.
- General Ledger
- Help with accounts receivable, payable and bank statement reconciliation.
- Assist with audits.
- Balance sheet reconciliation.
- Data Entry
- Other Duties as Assigned
