Aster Key is a start-up.
Aster Key invented a way for consumers to start loan applications anonymously. Our mission is to make lending safer as consumer data is often hacked.

This is an opportunity to work with experienced start-up founders. Their previous company raised $20 million and was acquired.
Internship role
The main role of this internship is to create and market user-generated content.
Create user-generated content for our team to post on our TikTok, Instagram, and related channels. This means you must be an interesting spokesperson. You will learn about the app and create how-to’s, do interviews with lenders launching on our platform, and you will come up with other content ideas. You should be well-spoken, confident, and fun as a spokesperson on camera. We also have video editors who will work on your content, as well as with our app store optimization contractors, you will interface with.
Other areas we can expose you to are:
Public relations (PR). We will also teach you how to do PR (in the real world). Pitching stories to reporters etc. Our founders have pitched themselves onto the Today Show and hundreds of publications, we’ll show you how it’s done.
Exposure to start-up teams and culture. You will be a part of our start-up team. As part of our small team, we will expose you to product development, operations, and sales.
Requirements
Pro-tip, and MANDATORY.
Make a very short, +/- 30-second video about our product and send it to us via handshake or jobs@asterkey.com.
This will give us an idea of your personality on camera. Keep it simple. We just want to see you explain something about our app. We are not concerned that you get the facts right at this point, have graphics or music.
We will count this video more than your resume.
A background in finance or real estate will be helpful, but not required.
If you don’t hear from us in 10 days, you can assume you’re not getting the role. If you do hear from us, we’ll set up a video interview, that will last +/- 15 minutes.

Start-dates, Pay, Flexibility, Remote
This position will be largely remote (and can be 100% remote). We are flexible on start-stop dates and any dates you’ll need off for summer vacations, etc. Plan on about 8 weeks of work. +/- $500 per week based on $15 an hour. You can start as early as part-time during the Spring semester in school, or do a ‘normal’ start in June and work into early August. We can, but don’t have to, meet in person. If the latter, we’ll periodically meet face to face if you live in the Philadelphia, PA region. When remote we will meet bi-weekly via Google Meet video calls and daily via Slack.
