Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly supervises the Warehouse Manager responsible for management of the Warehouse department.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Purpose: Direct division accounting and finance functions to establish and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Support Audubon plant operations team with cost accounting and other key metrics to assist in decision making. Support the Corporate Controller with corporate financial and accounting functions.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.
- Manage financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, and tax
- Complete month-end closing; create and distribute monthly financial statements
- Perform financial statement analyses and present findings and recommendations to the division management group and TEAM corporate staff; follow-up on inquires as required
- Monitor, report, and present as needed on production costs, efficiencies, scrap, variances, profitability, or other key metrics
- Plant labor and burden model support and maintenance
- Plant Level financial forecasting
- Oversee cash flow management
- Coordinate audit related issues and projects
- Conduct financial analysis projects and statistical studies
- Demonstrate leadership commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and coach subordinates on their impact on TEAM QMS objectives.
- Surcharges – invoice posting and plant specific estimates & calculations for all TEAM locations
- Tariffs – Audubon and parts transferred from TEAM Distribution to other plants
- Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Other accounting and finance duties as required
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA/MBA preferred.
- 5-7 years accounting experience; manufacturing environment preferred
- Previous management or supervisory experience required
- Experience working with accounting software
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to react well under pressure/stress
- Ability to communicate with a variety of people, both verbally and in writing
- Regular attendance on-site at least 4 days per week
