DISCOVER THE OPPORTUNITY TO
- Prepare simple financial statements and assist in preparation of complex financial statements for assigned federal grants;
- Examine financial documents to ensure accuracy and conformance with requirements by reviewing related records, provisions and/or regulations;
- Responsible for accounts payable including distributing charges to proper accounts, encumbering accounts for purchase orders, auditing invoices or payments for accuracy and compliance with state regulations;
- Gather and consolidate payroll and expenditure data to facilitate budget preparation;
- Ensure expenditures plus encumbrances are within appropriation limits;
- Ensure routine payments are in compliance with contract provisions;
- Work with program staff on creation of budget for new funding.
