Resilience, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the mental health of students, as well as reducing mass shootings, suicide, and depression. Resilience, Inc. also works to combat declining test scores, low student engagement, and a slew of other social issues.
Our organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through 5 core topics: self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting & effective decision-making. We also provide tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, social beings, and overall well-being.
Our mission is to teach SEL tools at every school in the country. Resilience offers unpaid internship programs that require at least a 4-month commitment with a minimum of 5 hours per week and team meetings weekly. Availability must also allow for as-needed meetings/phone calls. There are flexible start and end dates with the option to continue after meeting the minimum requirement.
Assist the SG&C Director to prepare reports; needs assessments; and evaluations, related to the Resilience’s self-governance activities; support in documenting import/export processes and procedures; aid in ensuring that all staff members are offboarded, according to Resilience’s policies and procedures. Activities:
Audit the following items on a weekly and/or monthly basis
-Conduct Quarterly & Annual Audits (Finance & Accounting Division)
-Monthly Payroll File Audit (Tracking Approved Hours)
-Weekly Timesheet Submission Audits
-Weekly hours worked Audit (minimum of 5 hours)
