The Audit & Assurance Seasonal Intern provides is exposed to a broad range of accounting, auditing, and consulting activities for clients, including: healthcare entities, not-for-profit clients, casinos and the hospitality industry, financial institutions, commercial businesses, state and local government entities, and tribal governments.

What you will be doing…
- Work one on one with an internship audit manager to learn and develop basic accounting skills.
- Provide continuous attention to building and expanding client relationships.
- Obtain client expectations from Management Team and assists in developing an execution plan to meet client expectations.
- Communicates matters to Senior and Manager that may impact billing and collections.
- Primary source of timely information about scope changes.
- Gain an understanding of planned approach and participates in plan execution.
- Assumes responsibility for completing all assigned areas fully.
What will set you apart…
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB).
- Knowledge of the Governmental Accounting Standard Board (GASB), statements and original pronouncements.
What you will need to succeed…
- Attained or be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration or Finance.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a desire to learn and ability to follow direction.
- Within one year of being eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
