Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Assume full responsibility to prepare & review all types of returns (individuals, corps, partnerships and/or trusts & estates)
- Successfully manage and maintain client relationships
- Utilize heavy research skills (using tools such as CCH, XCM, and RIA)
- Assist Partners in strategic tax planning
- Working closely with staff, and assisting senior management in mentoring, coaching, training, supervising, and evaluating staff
- Provide oversight and direction to a team of tax staff accountants in the delivery of tax services.
- Active involvement in client business development
Qualifications:
- CPA license (at the time of applying) is required
- Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Accounting or Taxation is required
- Must have 6 – 15 years of recent and relevant experience in U.S. public accounting
- Must have at lest 2 years of supervisory experience
- Heavy experience with review
- Broad taxation experience
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Extremely organized, can manage time appropriately and work within budget parameters
- Well developed work ethic
- Maintain a positive atmosphere of the firm
- Excellent technical and research skills; should be detail oriented and well organized with a willingness to learn
- Ability to manage all aspects of client work
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
