Description/Responsibilities:
We are looking for a bright and motivated audit intern to join our team this upcoming busy season. As part of PKF San Diego, you’ll have the opportunity to work on audits and reviews of private and public companies and employee benefit plans of various sizes and industries. Any fieldwork will be local. As an audit intern, you have the opportunity to work directly with partners, collaborate with other audit staff, and communicate directly with clients. You’ll work with a team of people that care about your professional development and work-life balance.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Have or are working toward Bachelor’s (or advanced) degree in accounting.
· Graduating by December 2027
· Basic understanding of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Energetic work ethic and desire/ability to learn.
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Experienced with Excel and Word.
Job Type:
· Part-time (20-24 hours per week)
· Seasonal (January – April); opportunity to begin in November
· Opportunity to become a full-time position
Compensation:
