Summary of Duties:
Assistant Controller supports many aspects of accounting (billing, tax forms, reporting, etc.). Responsible for reconciling multiple bank accounts and correspondent bank accounts. Additionally, process accounts payable, public funds reporting, prepare board reports, oversee fixed assets and prepaid expense accruals, prepare and balance security entries, file personal property renditions, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Accounting degree required. A combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Computer literate with Excel and Word experience.
- Must have good team and interpersonal skills.
- Must have strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Must be organized and able to work on projects alone.
- Self-directed and growth oriented.
- Committed to ongoing training.
