Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. The SDR will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy, developing a strong sales pipeline and nurturing relationships with potential clients in the healthcare sector. You will have the responsibility of identifying, reaching out to, and pitching our value proposition to key decision-makers within large hospital networks across the country.
Responsibilities:
- Research, identify, and prospect for new clients within the healthcare industry, focusing on large hospital networks.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, leveraging CRM tools to forecast and track client engagement activities.
- Effectively articulate and present our hospice and palliative care services, and joint-venture opportunities to potential clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute lead generation campaigns.
- Qualify leads based on their potential and readiness for partnership.
- Nurture relationships with potential clients through regular follow-ups, addressing concerns, and answering queries to move leads through the sales funnel.
- Collaborate with the sales team to transition qualified leads and ensure the seamless handover of information.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and changes in the healthcare industry, specifically relating to hospice and palliative care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting and generating leads in the healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of hospice and palliative care services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel as required.
