Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Intern to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and credit card transactions. The ideal candidate will also support document control processes and assist with month-end closing activities.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable:
2. Support Month-End and Year-End Close Processes
3. Organize and file financial documents, both physical and digital.
4. Ensure accuracy and completeness of records in accounting systems.
5. Input financial transactions into accounting software.
6. Assist in analyzing financial data and preparing summaries or reports.
7. Assist with Audits and Compliance.
8. Work closely with the accounting team to support daily operation.
9. Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.
Education & Experience:
1. Currently pursuing an Accounting, Finance, or related field, or
2. Must be at least 18 years old.
3. Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
4. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
5. Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
6. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and error-proofing.
