Irish Dancing Magazine has been sharing the magic of Irish Dance with the world for over 27 years — and now we want to take that energy to YouTube in a big way! We have a TON of amazing videos just waiting to be edited, posted, and shared with dancers and fans around the globe. That’s where you come in!
The Gig
We’re looking for a creative, organized, and YouTube-obsessed intern to help us edit videos, upload them, and grow our channel. You’ll get hands-on experience in video production, branding, and social media strategy — all while helping us reach thousands of passionate viewers.
What You’ll Do
Turn raw footage into polished, binge-worthy videos
Add intros, outros, captions, and cool graphics
Come up with titles, descriptions, and tags that make people want to click
Design thumbnails via CANVA that POP
Upload and schedule videos so our channel stays fresh
Organize playlists and optimize the channel layout
Keep an eye on video analytics and share ideas to boost views
What We’re Looking For
A current college student who’s into video editing, media, marketing, or digital storytelling
Knows their way around editing software
Comfortable using YouTube Studio (or willing to learn fast)
Detail-oriented but also creative and willing to experiment
Bonus points if you love dance, the arts, or niche communities
The Details
Hours: 8 hours per week (flexible around your classes)
Hybrid — 50% of the time in the office
Paid internship $15.00 per hour
Internship length: September, October, November 2025
Start date: As Soon as Possible
