What You’ll Do
As a QA Engineer Intern at SkyIT, you will play a vital role in testing, validating, and assuring the quality of our fleet management and web applications.
Execute & Validate: Run rigorous manual test cases (functional, regression, exploratory) to ensure flawless user experiences across frontend and backend systems.
Build Test Procedures: Develop, document, and implement internal QA test plans and quality metrics aligned with agile project requirements.
Bug Tracking & Reporting: Write clear, detailed bug reports and collaborate closely with developers to isolate and resolve issues.
Automate & Scale: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of automated tests using modern tools to improve efficiency and test coverage.
Direct Growth: Partner with development and DevOps teams and receive direct mentorship from the CEO and senior leadership.
What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)
Education: Currently pursuing a senior year of a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Core Competencies: Solid understanding of QA fundamentals, test planning, bug lifecycle management, and agile development methodologies.
Nice-to-Haves: Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Jest), scripting languages (Python, JavaScript), or accessibility standards (WCAG) is a strong plus.
Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude toward quality assurance.
