Position Summary
Concrete Hospitality Group is seeking a Summer 2025 Hospitality Finance Intern to gain hands-on experience in financial operations across multiple properties. This role provides an immersive opportunity to work directly with financial reporting, payroll processing, expense tracking, and market research within the hospitality industry. The intern will gain exposure to real-world financial decision-making, revenue analysis, and vendor relations, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
What You’ll Do
Financial Administration & Reporting
- Assist in revenue recognition, financial reconciliation, and expense tracking to ensure accurate reporting.
- Maintain and update the Daily Profit & Loss (P&L) Spreadsheet, analyzing financial trends and variances.
- Reconcile vendor statements to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct market research on vendor pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support the weekly payroll process, ensuring proper tracking of wages, credit card tips, and cash tip distributions.
- Track and analyze weekly payroll costs, providing department-specific breakdowns and insights on cost percentages relative to sales.
- Audit nightly recap reports and shadow cash reconciliation processes to gain insight into financial controls.
- Assist in tracking Food & Beverage costs, operational expenses, and marketing budgets to support financial decision-making.
Operational Support & Compliance
- Monitor credit card and cash tips reporting, ensuring accurate reconciliation of payouts.
- Support financial audits and assist in ensuring compliance with internal financial policies.
Shadow portfolio property teams to gain exposure to financial reporting processes in real time.
Professional Development & Learning
- Attend team meetings, training sessions, and financial workshops to build industry knowledge.
- Gain hands-on experience with financial reporting tools and hospitality systems.
- Work alongside seasoned industry professionals and develop a strong foundation in hospitality finance.

Who You Are
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field.
