Café y Kilómetros is a Colombian-American social venture bringing premium, directly-sourced Colombian coffee to U.S. consumers while reinvesting in rural coffee communities. We combine two passions — running and coffee — to promote culture, community, and sustainability.
Position Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic interns to represent Café y Kilómetros at Massachusetts farmers markets this summer. This is a hands-on sales and brand ambassador role, with opportunities to contribute in other areas based on your skills and interests.
Core Responsibilities
Own direct sales at farmers markets (U.S. only) — engaging with customers, telling our story, and driving purchases.
📦 Logistics & Sales Tracking – help track weekly inventory (bags sold and in stock).
Brand Representation – maintain an attractive booth, share product knowledge, and provide exceptional customer service.
Optional: contribute to educational blog posts, social media management, accounting support, or other business areas.
Compensation
10% to 25% depending on sale volume
Transportation expenses and lunch stipend provided for market days

Reliable and proactive with time and responsibilities
Able to lift and transport market supplies (nothing excessively heavy)
Access to a car preferred
Dates & Location
Markets take place Saturday mornings in Massachusetts from mid-August through December with a chance for extension.
