Andover Management Group and Citadel Self Storage is seeking at outgoing, friendly, sales and customer service oriented individual to become an Storage Manager with our company at our brand new facility in Glenwood Springs

A Storage Manager reports directly to the Regional Manager, CFO, Owners and is Andover’s on and off site representative. You as a Store Manager have five main priorities: to effectively market your store, maintain a low delinquency rate, effectively supervise personnel, thoroughly oversee maintenance / capital improvements, and most important achieve superior financial performance. A full job description appears below.

The Storage Manager is totally accountable for all storage operations. The person directs and administers all operations of the assigned property, including the annual business plan (budget); management, marketing and maintenance programs; computer operations; policies and procedures; and human resources in order to achieve maximum profitability and goals consistent with department objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work alongside your team to maximize sales objectives with all customers whether in store, online or via the phone
  • Consistently practices exceptional customer service practices by acting in a friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner
  • Welcome and show facility to prospective new tenants identifying their needs and finding solutions. Also, handle incoming phone calls from prospective new residents and complete appropriate paperwork.
  • Performs all duties associated with accounting and rent collections and takes corrective and legal actions as required to obtain collection
  • Maintain records on all aspects of management activity on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Submit required reports to corporate office on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Physically walk and inspect community on a regular basis; checking on vacant units.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors creative marketing program to maximize benefits of newspaper advertising, realtor and corporate contacts and resident referrals.
  • Conduct on-going training with office staff; e.g., leasing paperwork, workplace safety, and any other type of training that may be needed on a daily basis. Conduct weekly staff meetings.

Must have experience in a customer service, restaurant., property management, or sales field
Outgoing and energetic personality
High School Diploma/GED equivalent. College Education is a plus
Ability to perform basic maintenance items
Valid driver license with reliable transportation
