2026 National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) Conference

This an exciting opportunity to attend the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) Conference, taking place September 23-25, 2026 in Los Angeles. This annual conference is open to all MBA students regardless of identity and provides a unique chance to connect with some of the largest companies in the world.

The event features a career expo (September 24 & 25), networking opportunities, and a wide range of professional development sessions. There are as many as 300 companies that will be in attendance, which in the past have included Microsoft, Fidelity, Google, Estee Lauder, Adidas, Ford, and many more. Oftentimes, these companies do not have a strong on-campus presence at Rady so this may be the only chance you can get in front of these companies. Many students leave the conference with interviews already lined up, making it essential to your job search and overall preparation. Read the Conference FAQs here.

Below is some additional helpful information as you consider attending:

    • Rady may reimburse you up to $500 of your conference expenses after the conference (which would include the $299 registration cost – the CMC will only reimburse $299 for registration. If you register at a higher cost (and do not use our Rady code), you will have to cover the difference).
    • More information on the CMC Fellowship found here. *This is the 2025-2026 Fellowship link, which will be updated by August 1, 2026 for your submission.
  • Additional expenses:
    • Whatever costs you incur above the $500 Fellowship will be your responsibility.
    • Fellowships are paid as a reimbursement to your student account after the event with submission of your receipts. Be sure to read the Fellowship criteria to understand which type of expenses can be reimbursed.
  • Resume Drop:
    • On July 1, 2026, the NBMBAA Job Board (resume drop) will open. You are strongly encouraged to register early to the conference and upload your resume to the NBMBAA Job Board to maximize recruiter visibility, interview opportunities, and Conference Job Match participation. The Job Board will be visible and accessible to you once you register. Employers begin reviewing candidates months before the Conference. You will want to prepare and update your Rady approved resume now (CMC Resume Community).

Please note that the conference overlaps with the first week of classes, so you’ll want to speak with your professors in advance if you plan to attend.
